Too many people try to over complicate things before they have actually mastered the basics.
It can be with their diet: deciding to do the latest fad diet before they have actually ever just tracked their food and realised that they could lose a few pounds by just eating a bit less.
Or at the gym: trying to do heavy advanced Olympic lifts before even mastering a basic deadlift movement pattern.
If you take things back to basics and work out how to do those things properly, you’ll be amazed at what you can achieve without having to go to extremes and end up giving up and feeling a failure.
